Xiaomi has been dominating the Indian Smartphone Market for a couple of years. Most of their devices are exclusively sold on Flipkart. But Oppo's new venture Realme was able to overcome that domination and become the best selling smartphone in Flipkart within a span of one year. Like Xiaomi, most of their devices are budget centric. This attracted a lot of customers towards the handsets.
Flipkart claims that they were able to ship more than 2 million units of Realme 2 past year. Along with Realme 2, there were other smartphones which made a mark for themselves in the past year like ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1, Honor 9 Lite, Redmi Note 5 Pro, Redmi 6 and Realme C1.
