Moto has come up with Moto mods whIch is quite amazing and attractive. Today, I am writing this post as an overview of Moto Z2 Play which can handle different Moto mods. The device was launched in June 2017.It was launched as the successor of Moto Z Play which also had Moto Mods.

The device weighs approximately 145g. Let's start with screen. The device has a 5.5 inch screen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It supports multi-touch. The screen is a Super AMOLED capacitative screen with 16M colors. Screen resolution is 1080*1920 pixels.
Coming into the next point , the OS. The device runs on Android v7.1.1 Nougat. Its great that the phone has the latest version of Android. The device is available in two RAM variants.4GB RAM model with 64GB Inernal storage and 3GB RAM model with 32GB Internal storage which enables you to do multi-tasking without hanging. The internal storage is expandable upto 256GB. The processor used in the device is 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon processer. GPU of the device is Adreno 506.
Camera is the best part of Moto Z2 Play.Primary Camera is a 12MP shooter with phase detection and laser autofocus, dual LED (with dual tone ) flash. It also has other features like touch to focus,face detection, panorama, Auto HD Recording. Front Camera is a 5MP shooter with dual LED (with dual tone ) flash.
Audio output of the device is also decent.There is a dedicated mic with active noise cancellation. Headphone jack is of 3.5mm.
The device is dual sim with 4G LTE support (nano+nano) with dual standby. The battery is also decent . The device is powered by a 3000Mah non-removable Li-ion battery. It provides a talktime of about 30h in 3G. It supports fast charging. Front mounted fingerprint sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Proximity sensor, Digital Compass etc. are the sensors available in the device.
The device also has other features like WLAN,Bluetooth, GPS,NFC,Radio,USB 3.1 of type C etc.
The device is available in three different colors viz., Lunar Grey , Fine Gold , Nimbus Blue.
